Mental Health Skill Building

Mental Health Skill Building services is a collaboration between clients and Qualified Mental Health Professionals and Licensed Clinical Professionals. MHSB is design to help each client identify personal strengths, weaknesses, goals, potentials. MHSB services are designed to equip each client with the skills needed to  accomplish, maintain, balance independence in the community environment. MHSB service can assist with improving client’s well being by establishing a support network of safety, education and empowering the client to increase overall quality of life by managing and controlling symptoms.

Who is Eligible?

MHSB  is for adults 18 and older who suffer from mental illness and lack basic living skills, need connections to community resources and require help in managing their psychiatric symptoms such as:  

  1. Schizophrenia or other psychotic disorder as set out in the DSM,

  2. Major Depressive Disorder 

  3. Bipolar I; or Bipolar II;

  4. A  prior history of psychiatric hospitalization; residential crisis stabilization, ICT or Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) services; placement in a psychiatric residential treatment facility (RTC Level C); or TDO.

Couple's therapy is designed to help couple’s build better communication skills between two people, identifying the root causes of conflicts presented, providing acceptance of each other, reinstitute emotional strength and building relationship resilience. Couples will be supported and challenged as they confront their feelings and behaviors to make a change in their relationship.

Prophetic life coaching will help you identify your goals, establish reasons to believe in yourself, how you will succeed, and celebrate your efforts along the way. Our certified coaches that will guide you in any area of life you want to succeed in. We guarantee and increase in positive behaviors, performance, and creativity in your life daily.

Outpatient Therapy

Outpatient mental health treatment is not one specific type of treatment. This type of counseling treatment that takes place in an office, telehealth , or clinical setting, involves no overnight stay. Outpatient treatment offers non-residential services to meet those we service  treatment needs. Services involve  treatment planning, individual and group counseling, family therapy, member education, and discharge planning.

Family/Parenting Therapy

In my therapy sessions, we’ll work to solve current problems and improve positive thinking and behavior. I will help you “re-frame” your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles. These sessions will help create healthy boundaries between each family member and bring understanding to each member's behaviors. Establish deeper empathy to be compassionate towards emotions and thoughts. Therapy will be an aid to reduce conflict and provide coping skills to produce positive communication skills.

Group Therapy

Group sessions that are designed to help those who want to know more about mental health and the challenges that it presents daily in the lives of many people. A safe place to be open and receive knowledge needed to understand the mind when life situations are presented that can be the root to the disorders that people face daily. Real life topics that are supported by the testimonies of those who have overcome them.

Intensive In-Home

Intensive In-Home is an intervention program that is designed to help children and families address their emotional and behavioral needs. The goal of this type of service is to provide them with the necessary support and engagement to maintain their stability. It can be utilized for kids who are at risk of being taken away from their homes or those who are returning home after being in a hospital or residential facility.

Multisystemic Therapy (MST)

A multisystemic therapy (MST) treatment program is designed for young people who are struggling with substance use or behavioral impairments, such as mood or disruptive behavior. It is delivered in a home or community setting, and it is coordinated with the help of other relevant healthcare providers. MST services are significantly more intensive and individualized than those provided by mental health facilities. They are designed to help young people avoid criminal activity and maintain stable living conditions in multiple settings. Through the program, caregivers can improve their skills to manage their kids' problematic behavior.

Program Highlights:

  • A comprehensive assessment of needs is vital for diagnosing and addressing issues.

  • 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Crisis support is available.

  • Family counseling and individual treatment plans are customized to meet the specific needs of each client.

  • The goal of this program is to help individuals navigate the various resources available in their community.

  • The program's goal is to work with treatment team members and healthcare providers to improve the coordination of services.
